Learn With Others

The Toolkit offers many resources for your individual use. If you are interested in working with others to build your PPP capacity, see below for training, conferences, peer exchange, and other hands-on opportunities.

Attend upcoming conferences and events

Take part in training

At present, there is relatively little training available that is specific to PPPs for highways. There are many one-off workshops offered during conferences and through professional organizations (see "Upcoming Conferences" or "Connect with a Peer"). For ongoing delivery of classroom-oriented training, two major providers are the Design-Build Institute of America and the Institute for Public-Private Partnerships.

Check out the Design-Build Institute of America's Education Tour Course Schedule. Additional classes and trainings will be added each week!

The Institute for Public-Private Partnerships, Inc. (IP3) provides global training and consulting services to governments and industries in the growing international marketplace of public-private partnership (PPP) modeling, regulation design and implementation, and competitive utility management.
